In our upstairs space we house two full size, 22 foot long rugged tavern style shuffleboard tables. These are the same tables found in the North American Shuffleboard Championships in Reno, Nevada. On Monday nights we have open shuffleboard tournaments with prizes and giveaways. The shuffleboard area is always the first to fill up on any given day. You can always find friends and customers enjoying cold drinks, hot burgers and some competitive fun. Accompanying these two beautiful tables we have a 46 inch plasma HDTV for our Golden Tee arcade and plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the action.

At Boylan Heights, our main goal is to provide a completely guilt-free burger.

From our signature burgers to delicious salads to rich shakes, we take pride in serving wholesome, natural food with All-American flair. We offer only the finest organic beef from Virginia farms supplied by The Organic Butcher, right here in Charlottesville. The meat is dry aged to further deepen the flavor and our beef is fresh ground daily. It is naturally raised Angus, hormone and anti-biotic free, grass fed and most importantly … healthy!

We also hold the same standards for our turkey burger. It’s extremely lean and high in protein, while still maintaining the essential juicy, mouth-watering taste.

Our veggie burger (pictured) is hand-crafted here at Boylan Heights. It is made from quinoa, fresh black beans, fresh corn, grilled zucchini, roasted tomatoes, and fresh herbs.

Don’t worry, there are no tests, no quizzes, no grades, just quality American food made the best way we know how.

Our cool prep-school vibe and relaxed atmosphere is the perfect complement to our all-natural ingredients, while our dedicated staff services upstairs and lower seating/bar arrangements designed with our customers in mind. And, speaking of bars, at Boylan Heights we tend to you, offering a wide variety of top-shelf liquors and refreshing draft beers.

That’s right. We also make killer salads, alternative sandwiches, super-thick milkshakes, and the best fries in Charlottesville — “normal” or sweet potato.
